Household Hazardous Waste Collection (Langley City)
Drop off paint, solvents, cleaners, batteries, electronics, fluorescent bulbs, propane tanks, small appliances and the like, free, one pickup or small-trailer load per household. City residents only; bring something that shows your address.

Not accepted: anything with refrigerant, drywall, tires, fireworks, sharps, vapes, or commercial waste. Many of the accepted items also have free year-round drop-off options; the City's page lists them.

Extra Yard Waste Pickup (Langley City, fall pilot)

Through November 27, put extra leaves, branches and garden clippings in paper yard waste bags beside your organics cart on your regular pickup day. No bag limit, each bag under 44 lbs, out by 7:30 am. Paper bags only. This is the City's third and final pilot.

Township tree vouchers open to all eligible properties

Township residents can apply online for a voucher toward a tree for their property, redeemable at two partner nurseries. Until Oct 31 only addresses that have never had a voucher can apply; from Nov 1 any remaining vouchers go to all eligible properties, first come, first served.
