If you’ve ever noticed a plaque on a piece of hospital equipment, there’s a fair chance a foundation like this one helped pay for it. The Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation raises money to improve health care in Langley, at Langley Memorial Hospital and out in the community. Its site says that covers life-saving equipment, urgent care services, and wellness programs for youth, seniors and families.
What it’s working on
The foundation’s home page lists its 2026 priorities: breast health (new mammography technology, expanded imaging and clinic upgrades), modern surgical equipment, and care for youth, families and seniors. It describes a three-year campaign aimed at health care in Langley. The site is the place for current goals and amounts, since they change as the campaign goes on.
On CanadaHelps, the charity describes its aim as growing the community’s pride, influence and ownership of health care services at the hospital and in the community. For the hospital itself, see our emergency and health pages.
How to give
The site has pages for one-time gifts, monthly giving, gifts in a will, gifts of securities, and other ways to give. Start at the donate page and pick what suits you. Questions can go to the office by phone or email.
Events and the Giving Hearts Gala
The events page lists three items: a Future of Mammography reception, a community events page, and the Giving Hearts Gala. The gala’s page names Mirage Banquet Hall as the venue and says details are coming soon. It carries a “2027” title next to a 2026 date, so we won’t promise a date here.
