Langley United Soccer Association, or LUSA, runs soccer for Langley from tiny tots to adults, and it fields its own high-level teams too. The site says its mission is to foster, promote and develop soccer skills, knowledge and enjoyment.
Programs
LUSA’s site lists these programs:
- Active Start (U3 to U5)
- Grassroots (U6 to U10)
- Youth (U11 to U18)
- Development Academies (U6 to U18)
- Soccer For Life (all ages) and Langley Adult Recreational Soccer
- a Junior Coach Program
Programs and registration are on the LUSA programs page.
How to register
Registration is online only, through an OttoSport account; there is no in-person sign-up. The registration page says to have the player’s birth certificate, care card number and a Visa or MasterCard ready, and U11 to U18 players upload a headshot for their BC Soccer ID card. Cash is not accepted. If you do not have a credit card, call the registrar.
Fees and refunds, according to LUSA: an administration fee of $30 for the fall season and $10 for spring, adult recreational, development academy, camps and Active Start. There is a $50 discount for the youngest of three or more children in U6 to U18. Full refunds minus the admin fee are available before the first training session. Families using KidSport or Jumpstart can email a copy of their application to [email protected]. Program fees themselves are not listed on the page, so check at registration.
BC Premier League
LUSA also plays in the BC Premier League, a pro-am league with men’s and women’s divisions, and calls itself the only non-profit club in the league. Home games are at Willoughby Community Park, and single-game tickets for 2026 were on sale through Showpass. LUSA’s site mentions Willoughby Stadium, and the Canadian Premier League says LUSA shares that stadium with Vancouver FC. Read about that on our Vancouver FC page.
Looking back
LUSA’s site headlines a “Century of Community”, and the Vancouver FC article says the club planned a centennial celebration in 2026. It kicked off in April 2025 with the first Langley Footy Fest at Willoughby Stadium.
Where to play
Winter field status is posted by the Township of Langley, and LUSA’s fields page links to it. For other sports in town, see our teams page and upcoming events.
