- "Langley: Many Voices, Shared Place" — the long-term local history exhibit, open since June 2026
For years the Langley Centennial Museum was a small building you could do in twenty minutes. The collection — some 23,000 objects — now lives in a 40,000-square-foot building with a library, a print studio, a theatre and a rooftop patio. The first exhibit only opened in June, so it’s new enough that the reviews haven’t caught up to it yet.
What’s on
The main gallery holds the long-term local history show, curated with Kwantlen First Nation and built around objects, photographs and community stories. The second-floor feature gallery is for rotating shows. The research room was still closed for the collection move when we checked, and the Township’s fall program list was thin, so look at the events page the week you go.
For kids and for time
The Indigenous Garden outside is free and worth the loop even if you skip the galleries. Budget 45 minutes to an hour and a half inside — which makes it a natural pair with the Fort across the street: same afternoon, same parking, $35 for a family for both.
The address thing
The official address is 23430 Mavis Avenue. Older listings still say 9135 King Street. It’s the same corner, so either gets you there.
We’ll go, time it, and score it. This page gets the number when we have it.
