Egg Bomb is the brunch place in City Centre Square where the plates come out looking styled for a photo. It’s an all-day breakfast and lunch café, open seven days from 9 to 5, and it started here in Langley before the same team opened a second, bigger version in Burnaby.

Langley first

When EggBomb+ opened at Lougheed in August 2024, the coverage described it as the upgraded sibling of the Langley original, adding dinner and a bar. The Langley café stays a daytime spot: breakfast and lunch, coffee and a very long drinks board, no dinner service.

What to order

The menu is short in sections and big in toppings.

  • Sandwiches ($14.50–$16.50) are the namesake: scrambled egg and cheese stacked with teriyaki beef, bacon, salami, ham, prawns or avocado, finished with house yogurt sauce.
  • English muffins ($21–$23.50) come open-faced with a soft-boiled egg, cream cheese and hollandaise, plus a side salad with feta.
  • Crodise plates ($19.50–$23) put a croffle (croissant dough pressed in a waffle iron) under a soft egg, ricotta, honey and salad.
  • French toast ($18.50–$21) goes savoury, with smoked salmon or prawns and hollandaise, or sweet with berry compote.
  • Croffles on their own ($10–$17.50) are dessert: matcha, tiramisu, cinnamon, injeolmi (roasted soybean powder) or loaded with fruit.

There are also big salads and toasts, and a drinks list that runs from a plain brewed coffee to dalgona, pistachio, sweet potato and lavender lattes, fruit ades and matcha drinks. Everything on the drinks board is non-alcoholic.

First-timer notes

  • Weekend tables can only be booked by phone; weekday tables can be booked on their site, at least a day ahead.
  • It closes at 5, so this is breakfast, lunch or an afternoon croffle, not dinner.
  • Takeout works by phone only for now; the online ordering on their site is turned off.
