Belmont is on Telegraph Trail in the Township. It opened in 1992 to a Les Furber and GDS design, and hosted the Canadian Tour’s spring qualifying school three years running, 2005 to 2007. It’s one of three courses run by West Coast Golf Group; the other two, Hazelmere and Swaneset, are outside Langley.
The course
Par is 70 over 18 holes, with six par 3s. Four sets of tees stretch it from 4,951 yards to 6,379, so there’s a sensible starting point for most players.
The 2025 refresh. Belmont closed for a round of upgrades and reopened on August 1, 2025. The list is long: a new irrigation control system, every bunker rebuilt, paved cart paths, a reworked third hole and a new approach and green on 18, a fleet of 52 lithium-ion carts with a new cart barn, tree pruning, refreshed clubhouse, golf shop and washrooms, new signage, paved parking and a new chipping green.
Rates
Belmont doesn’t post a fixed rate card for adults. Each tee time on the booking site has its own price, and it drops later in the day. Here’s what the site showed when we checked on October 21, 2026:
| Tee time (18 holes) | Price shown |
|---|---|
| Saturday, Oct 24, around 8 to 10 am | $99 to $100 |
| Saturday, Oct 24, 2:20 to 2:50 pm | $53 to $60 |
| Saturday, Oct 24, 3:00 to 3:20 pm | $43 |
| Saturday, Oct 24, 3:30 pm onward | $35 |
| Wednesday, Oct 21, mid-afternoon | $35 to $40 |
The only fixed rates on the course page are for juniors (2025): $50 plus GST any time on weekdays, and $60 plus GST after noon on weekends and holidays. Junior rates apply to ages 10 to 18, and 10- to 12-year-olds must play with an adult. A second round the same day is 50% off on a standby basis with your receipt (carts extra). Annual passes are sold through the group’s annual pass program.
Booking and policies
- Book online for up to 12 players; bigger groups go through the group bookings page. Public golfers can book 12 days out, members and passholders 30.
- Advance bookings are at 18-hole rates. Nine-hole rates are same-day only.
- A card on file holds the time; you pay in the golf shop on the day. Check in when you arrive or you may be treated as a no-show.
- Cancel online through My Reservations at least 24 hours ahead. Late cancellations and no-shows can be charged in full. No charge if the course closes for weather.
- Dress code: collared shirt, golf shorts or pants, golf shoes. No jeans, sweatpants, athletic shorts, logo T-shirts or tank tops.
- Power cart drivers must be 19+ with a licence. No personal carts or scooters, no ride-alongs, no outside liquor.
Practice and lessons
The course page mentions the new chipping green. The group’s practice facilities and golf academy pages cover Hazelmere and Swaneset rather than Belmont, so call ahead if you’re hoping to hit balls before your round.
After your round
The West Coast Cafe serves casual food and has a full bar. Its posted hours were Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm, through the end of September; call for fall hours. The golf shop is open dawn to dusk.
