If you’ve been in Langley a while you may know this one as Pagoda Ridge. It’s out on 264 Street in North Langley, and the 18th looks out over Glen Valley.
The course
GreenTee lists 18 holes at par 72 and a length of just under 7,000 yards from the tips, on bent grass fairways and greens. You play alongside The Great Wall, the course’s best-known feature, and dodge roughly 40 bunkers plus water. The closing hole is a short par 4 you can try to drive. Scorecards are downloadable from the course page.
How it got here. The club’s own history says Lyall Brown started shaping 165 acres here in 1982, inspired by Asian architecture, and that the club opened in August 2012. The Langley Advance Times reported that Lyall and Verna Brown bought the land in 1979, and that in January 2022 the family sold the course to Coquitlam’s JK World Group, which renamed it GreenTee Country Club Langley. At the time the new owners said they planned to keep it public for two years and later make it a private club after renovations. As of our check, the club still describes the course as public and takes public tee times online.
