Poppy Estate is on 248 Street, with an Aldergrove mailing address. It’s an executive course: the men’s card has nine par 3s and nine par 4s and no par 5s, so a round goes quicker and you won’t need every club in the bag. The club mentions three lakes, a good number of sand traps and a view of Mount Baker, and it stays open year round, with seasonal hours from December to March.

The course

The 2026 scorecard shows 18 holes at a men’s par of 63, playing 4,505 yards from the championship tees, 4,227 from the regular tees and 3,947 from the women’s tees. The longest hole on the card is 400 yards.

Rates

Poppy Estate lists prices with each tee time on its booking site rather than a separate rate card. What we saw on October 21, 2026:

Day and rate (18 holes unless noted) Price
Thursday, Oct 22, morning $50.99 (senior/junior $48.99)
Saturday, Oct 24, morning green fee $59.99
Saturday, Oct 24, online discounted times $54.99
Saturday, Oct 24, twilight from about 1 pm $49.99, then $45.99, then $42.99
Twilight 9 holes, from about 3 pm $30.99 to $31.99

Some early times are sold as prepaid specials that can’t be refunded or changed. Carts are priced per seat on your confirmation; if you ride alone, a solo fee of $31.99 is added at check-in.

Passes. The 2026 season passes (senior, unlimited, twilight, adult weekday and junior) were all marked sold out when we checked. The 10-round weekday pass was still listed at $539 for adults and $522 for seniors (60+), before tax, good for two years from purchase.

Booking and policies

  • The public can book online up to 7 days ahead (season pass holders 14). Phone bookings go up to 5 days out; email isn’t accepted.
  • Check in at the pro shop 15 minutes before your time. Everyone needs their own clubs or a rental.
  • Online bookings can be cancelled up to 16 hours ahead; phone bookings need 24 hours and a conversation with staff. Voicemail, email and text cancellations don’t count, and same-day bookings can’t be cancelled. Late cancellations can cost up to $35 a player, and a group that doesn’t show pays 100% of green fees.
  • No walking: walkers and caddies aren’t permitted, so plan on a power cart. Drivers must be 19+ with a valid licence and credit card; carts stay on the path on par 3s.
  • Dress neatly: collared shirts and clean trousers, soft spikes or soft-soled shoes. No jogging pants, tank tops, ripped clothes, heels or boots.
  • Juniors must be at least 8, and under-13s play with a golfing adult.
  • Only alcohol bought at the course is allowed, and nothing in the parking lot. No rain checks.

Practice and lessons

The club’s site doesn’t list a driving range or lessons. It does run leagues and hosts tournaments.
