The Redwoods sits on 88 Avenue on the way into Fort Langley. A Fraser Valley tourism listing gives 1994 as its opening year. It’s a public course, and if you live in the Township it’s the one with a resident discount built in.

The course

The course plays 18 holes at par 71, from 5,452 yards on the forward tees to 6,516 from the back. The club describes tree-lined fairways laid out on a split-level property, with the coastal mountains behind. There are four tee options (Blue, Blue/White, White and Red); the blues carry a men’s rating of 71.8 and slope of 128, and the reds 66.6 and 116.

A bit of history. According to a 2018 Aldergrove Star story, the Township entered a purchase agreement with the course’s founding family in 2005 and bought the site with restrictions that protect it from development, while Redwoods keeps the right to operate the course for 20 years. In 2008 the course dedicated the Hope Redwoods Natural Area, a seven-acre nature reserve within the property.

Rates

Prices below are as the course published them on October 21, 2026. They include tax. The second column is for Township of Langley residents enrolled in the Resident’s Program.

Green fee Public Township resident
Monday to Thursday $94 $79
Friday to Sunday $114 $99
Pre-twilight (about 5 hours before sunset) $84 $69
Twilight (about 4 hours before sunset) $74 $59
2nd twilight (about 3 hours before sunset) $64 $49
Sunset (about 2 hours before sunset) $54 $39
Junior (13 to 18) $54 $39

Kids 12 and under play free, one per paying adult, though junior rates apply if they tee off before 2 pm. Power carts are $26 per rider and aren’t offered for 2nd twilight or sunset times. Rental clubs run $40 or $60 a set, and pull carts are free when available. The course doesn’t publish a separate senior or 9-hole rate.

The resident program. Township residents, owners or renters, can sign up at the golf shop with proof of address for $20 a year. It takes $15 off the posted green fee, $2 off medium and large range buckets, and opens booking 15 days ahead. The 2026 program runs to December 31; 2025 members have to renew.

Booking and policies

Tee times are booked online only and need a valid credit card. Groups of 2 to 20 can book; if you’re on your own, the course asks you to call the golf shop the morning you want to play. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead to avoid a charge, and no-shows may be billed the full rate for every spot. Winter rates are exempt from that window, so you can cancel any time before teeing off.

Practice and lessons

The range has 26 covered, heated stalls. Bucket prices, tax in: 25 balls $5, 60 balls $11 ($9 resident), 100 balls $16 ($14 resident). Until October 31 the range opens at 7 am most days (8:30 am Mondays and Thursdays) and closes at 9 pm; from November 1 it runs 7:30 am to 8 pm (8:30 am Mondays and Thursdays). Ball sales stop 45 minutes before close. There’s also a 7,000 sq ft putting green open to the public, a chipping green and a practice bunker. The Redwoods Golf Academy offers lessons; see its instruction page.

After your round

RedwoodsGrill is in the clubhouse, and the course also does banquets, weddings and tournaments. Fort Langley village is a few minutes up the road if you’d rather eat there.
