Most people in Langley still call it the Boys and Girls Club. Its official name now is BGC South Coast BC, and the Langley club runs out of Douglas Park Community School in Langley City, with after-school programs and summer camps, according to the school district.

Its stated mission is simple: safe, supportive places where children and youth can try new things. That matters on the days when school is out and work isn’t. The club runs full-day camps on Pro-D days and school breaks, 8:30 am to 6 pm, and lists the 2026–27 Pro-D dates on its page. The rates are $25 a day for annual members and $35 for camp-only members, but the club is clear that families pay what they can.

The club hasn’t posted its weekly after-school schedule or exact age groups online, so call or email to ask what fits your child.
