DirectionsOn Glover Road between Langley City and Milner.

Estate 1909 is the newest name on Glover Road between Langley City and Milner. It’s a small, family-run winery with a European feel, on what Tourism Langley calls a historic Milner property. There’s a wine lounge, a picnic area with views of the vines, and a big barn whose upstairs is used for weddings and private events. The site doesn’t explain the 1909 in the name, and doesn’t name the family who owns it.

The first wines are a Founders Series from 2023: Terre Sauvage, La Revolution and Heritage White.

It’s open Thursday to Sunday afternoons, and you don’t need to book. Events so far have been free and casual: Friday-evening Sundown Sessions with live music from April to September, a Harvest Moon night on October 23, and a Blood Moon Halloween event. Food trucks come for the bigger ones. The bistro page promised a summer 2026 opening, but October’s Wine Passport listing still said “opening soon,” so check before you plan a meal around it.

Awards. Too new for any yet.

Not drinking? The free evening events and the picnic area work for everyone, and dogs are welcome at the events.
