DirectionsOn 20 Avenue a short way east of 232 Street. Reservation only: book before you drive out.

Book first. That’s the main thing to know. Manners takes reservations only and won’t seat walk-ins, so don’t just drive out on a whim.

It opened on June 7, 2026, in a restored heritage manor on 20 Avenue, and calls itself ten years in the making by the family who raised their kids on the property. The site doesn’t name them, so neither will we.

There are four ciders, all made with BC apples, all 6.3% and gluten-free:

  • The G.O.A.T.: dry, and the flagship
  • The Snitch: semi-dry, blackberry and lime
  • The Bandit: semi-sweet, mango and apple with serrano pepper
  • The Ol’ Heifer: semi-sweet, strawberry and lychee

The look is part of the draw: a barn-style bar, horseshoes on the walls, the whole barnyard theme. Its first fall had Sunday Farm Fest events through October, including an apple day, orchard photo sessions, an artisan market with 30-plus makers and a Pints & Pumpkins day. There’s also a cider club, The Guest List, with three or four pickups a year.

Awards. None yet; it’s been open four months.

Not drinking? The food menu is a real menu. The site doesn’t list non-alcoholic drinks, so ask when you book.

Backyard Vineyards is a few minutes away on 232 Street.
