DirectionsOn 248 Street just south of 60 Avenue; the pin is the driveway on 248 Street, and the building sits well back from the road.

Otter Trail calls itself Langley’s newest winery, though Chapter Estates has opened since. It’s a different kind of winery from its neighbours on 248 Street. There’s no vineyard out back: the grapes come from its own 17.5-acre estate on Black Sage Road in Oliver, in the South Okanagan, planted with Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Carménère. The Langley building is where you drink them, and mostly where you eat. It runs as a full restaurant, with brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails and a happy hour, and the hours above are its kitchen hours. It doesn’t publish separate tasting-room times, so call before you drive out just to taste.

The calendar stays busy. In fall 2026 there was live music, an Elvis night on November 5, and yoga at the winery on November 22 and December 20. It also hosts weddings and corporate events, so check the home page for “closed for private event” notices.

Who owns it. The winery talks about family values on its site but doesn’t name its owners. The team page lists a general manager, Shayne May, a former co-owner of Vancouver’s Rossini’s restaurants, and head winemaker Stéfanie Dylla.

Awards and recognition. Finalist for New Business of the Year at the 2025 Langley Business Excellence Awards, run by the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce. Chamber announcement

Not drinking? It’s a restaurant first, so there’s a full menu (and a kids’ menu) for anyone who isn’t tasting.

Krause Berry Farms is just up the road.
