People are surprised Langley makes wine at all. It does, and a fair amount of it is grown here: cool-climate grapes like Bacchus, Siegerrebe, Ortega, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir do well in the south end of the Township, and the berry farms on 248 Street turn their own fruit into wine. Then there’s a meadery making honey wine from its own hives, and two cideries pressing apples a few minutes apart.
We checked every place on this page in October 2026 against its own website: current hours, current events, and a reason to believe someone will be there to pour when you pull in. Anything we couldn’t confirm is not on the list (more on that at the bottom).

Doing a loop
Seven of these sit within about five kilometres of each other in South Langley. Township 7 and Festina Lente are a stone’s throw apart near 16 Avenue and 212 Street, with Fraser Valley Cider just down the road. Chaberton and Chapter Estates are a few hundred metres apart on 216 Street. Backyard (232 Street) and Manners (20 Avenue) are the eastern edge of the cluster. Glass House is the far corner, down on 0 Avenue against the border. That’s the classic afternoon route, and it’s mostly two-lane country road, so a designated driver isn’t optional.
The 248 Street pair, Krause and Otter Trail, are a separate trip up near Otter. Pair them with the rest of that strip: Otter Co-op and the farms around it. Estate 1909 is on Glover Road in Milner, on the way to Fort Langley.
All of them are on the Circle Farm Tour, a self-guided farm route; we wrote up how that works on our farming and agriculture page.
If you’re not the one drinking
Plenty of reasons to go anyway. Krause has a farm market, bakery and seasonal u-pick. Chaberton, Chapter Estates and Otter Trail are proper restaurants. Several places list non-alcoholic drinks, and the cideries in particular say they’re happy to see families. Each page has a “Not drinking?” line with what that place publishes.
Not on this list
We only list places we could confirm are open and pouring right now. If you know of one we’ve missed, tell us and we’ll check it and add it. Wineries in Surrey and Abbotsford show up on the Fraser Valley wine passport, but they aren’t in Langley, so they aren’t here.
Breweries and the distillery have their own page: Langley craft breweries and distillery.
