For most of its first decade, Dead Frog had Langley’s craft beer more or less to itself. Since Trading Post opened in 2016 the list has filled out: a cluster of three near 64 Avenue, two in Walnut Grove, one in each of downtown Langley City and Brookswood, a farm brewery that grows its own barley, and a college lab where brewing students sell what they make on Fridays. Add a distillery that turns its own potatoes into vodka, and you have a page.

Every place below was checked against its own website in October 2026 for current hours and current events. This page doesn’t list tap lists or specials. It covers the useful stuff: where each one is, when it’s open, whether you can bring the kids, what it’s known for, and the medals it has actually won.

“See page” means the brewery’s own site doesn’t spell out its policy, so we’ve written down what it does publish rather than guess. If it matters, call ahead.

The 64 Avenue cluster

Trading Post and Five Roads are practically next door to each other near 64 Avenue and 202 Street, and Camp is about a kilometre west along 64 Avenue. It’s the one spot in Langley where you can visit three breweries without getting back in the car for long. Dead Frog and Smugglers’ Trail are a short drive north in the Walnut Grove business park by Highway 1.

Locality and Roots and Wings are farm trips, out in the country north and east of Fort Langley. Both have outdoor space, and both make more sense in daylight.

If you’re not drinking

Several taprooms list non-alcoholic drinks, from craft sodas to kombucha. Camp has a kids’ menu (and s’mores). Locality has picnic areas in the hop yard and a trail around the farm’s lagoon. Each page lists what that place publishes.

Not on this list

Taphouses like The Barley Merchant in Walnut Grove pour a lot of local beer but don’t brew it, so they’re not here. Dead Frog’s original Aldergrove brewery closed when it moved to Walnut Grove in 2018. Know a Langley brewery we’ve missed? Tell us.

Wineries, cideries and the meadery are on their own page: Langley wineries, cideries and meadery. We also wrote about a group dinner at Trading Post’s Fort Langley eatery.
