#5 – 20555 56 Avenue, Langley, BC, V3A 3Y9Downtown Langley City

DirectionsOn 56 Avenue between 205 and 206 Street, a short walk east of downtown Langley City.

Three friends who grew up in Willoughby, Arnold Tobler, Travis Keyworth and Richard McCamley, opened Farm Country in December 2019. They put it in a former supermarket building a short walk from downtown Langley City, and gave it a farm theme from top to bottom. Three months later, the pandemic shut tasting rooms. In 2022 the Langley Advance Times wrote about how the brewery kept at it and started winning medals.

Who owns it

Since November 2023, Farm Country has been part of the Magic Malts family. Magic Malts Brewing is a contract brewer that started in 2023 with the tagline “Imagined in India, Brewed in Canada,” brewing at first at another Lower Mainland brewery. When it bought Farm Country, Canadian Beer News reported that the two would carry on as separate sister companies. Farm Country’s own team page names Vivek Taneja as owner and Jack Bensley as head brewer. The founders, Tobler, Keyworth and McCamley, are no longer listed.

The beers lean traditional, with farm-pun names. Farm House Ale and the Sausage Party Festbier are the ones with medals, and the German Pilsner has won gold too. The room is the draw for a lot of people: timber beams, booths and the brewhouse in view. The events calendar is one of the busiest in town, with open mic nights, Latin nights and a Diwali on Tap celebration. In March 2026 the brewery poured the annual Pink Boots collaboration beer.
