Emergency and non-emergency contacts in Langley

Save this page on your phone. It is the short list of numbers Langley residents tend to hunt for at the worst moment, with what each one is for.

If it’s an emergency

Call 9-1-1 for fire, a crime in progress, or a medical emergency. The RCMP’s own contact page says the same. Registered Deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired residents can use Text with 9-1-1: E-Comm says the service is only for that community, you register through your cellphone provider, and you then dial 9-1-1 as usual and E-Comm starts a text session. Don’t call 9-1-1 to test it.

Police: Langley RCMP

  • Main detachment: 22180 48A Avenue, Langley, BC V3A 8B7
  • Phone: 604-532-3200 (the RCMP page lists it as the detachment’s main line)
  • General services hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm
  • Crime already happened and it isn’t an emergency? The RCMP points to its Online Crime Reporting tool. Its help page does not list the incident types it accepts, so if yours doesn’t fit, phone or visit the detachment.

  • Langley Urgent and Primary Care Centre: Fraser Health’s location page carries a notice that the centre has moved and still shows #202-20434 64 Avenue, so check that page for the current address and hours before you go.
  • 8-1-1 (HealthLink BC): free health information and advice, with navigators and nurses answering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a pharmacist from 5 pm to 9 am, dietitians 9 am to 5 pm weekdays, and interpretation in over 130 languages. Deaf and hard-of-hearing callers use 7-1-1.
