Bicycle Sports Pacific has been selling bikes since 1989. It’s a Canadian, family-owned shop with two stores, one in Vancouver and this one in the business complex on the Langley Bypass. Langley gets the riding club, too: the BSP Ride Collective currently starts all its rides here.
On the floor
The showroom is mostly Trek, with Cannondale and Electra alongside: kids’ bikes, hybrids for commuting, mountain bikes and e-bikes. Prices on their site run from about $390 for a 16-inch kids’ Trek to the thousands for full-suspension and electric. There are racks of helmets, jackets and jerseys too, along with lights, locks, racks, tires and spare parts.
Reviewers often mention the time staff spend matching a first-time buyer to the right size of bike, and a mechanic who explains what was fixed when you pick it up.
Service and the club
The service desk takes walk-ins. They’ll inspect the bike first, then give you a price and a timeline, with packages for brakes, drivetrain and a general tune.
The BSP Ride Collective has two speeds: a group for experienced riders and a shorter, more relaxed outing. Members need Cycling BC insurance, a signed waiver and a club membership. The shop also runs flat-tire and drivetrain clinics in Langley; dates are posted on their clinics page when they’re set.
Hours
Their Langley page lists Thursday to Sunday 10 to 6, closed Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday isn’t clear on their site, so call 604-539-2453 before heading over midweek. Email [email protected].
