Langley School District 35 covers both the City and the Township, so its board of education is chosen on both ballots. The district says seven trustees serve a four-year term, 2026 to 2030: two elected by City voters and five by Township voters. Trustees were on the same ballot as mayor and council on October 17, 2026.
City of Langley trustees
From the City’s official results page:
- Tony Ward (Langley Strong): 2,106 votes
- Celene Hoag: 2,033 votes
Three other candidates ran in the City: Jennifer Elderkin (1,935), Laura Wierenga (1,821) and Marshall Austin (1,410).
Township of Langley trustees
Fifteen candidates ran for the five Township seats. The Township’s candidates page lists them, and its results page is where the certified vote table lives. The Township’s results page shows these five elected, all from the Langley Strong slate (vote counts from that page):
- Charlie Fox, 16,528
- Holly Dickinson, 15,287
- Neil Turner, 14,945
- Candy Ashdown, 13,680
- Kathie Dalziel, 13,501
The Langley Advance Times reported that Langley Strong won all five Township seats and named Kathie Dalziel among the winners. The Aldergrove Star’s election-night story called the trustee counts provisional, so please check the Township’s results page for the certified names and totals.
When does the new board start?

The next regular board meeting is November 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm. For how the board works and how to watch, see the Langley Board of Education page.
