Two trustees for the Langley School District were elected by City voters: Tony Ward (Langley Strong), with 2,106 votes, and Celene Hoag, with 2,033. See the school trustee results page for the whole board.
Turnout
The City’s page reports 28.5 percent turnout, with 6,209 votes cast.
Questions on the ballot
The Aldergrove Star reported that City voters were also asked for their views on community facilities. It said voters supported a possible pool expansion and did not support a new performing arts and cultural centre. Check the City’s page for the exact wording of the questions and the totals.
Official declaration and first meeting
The City’s results page lists October 19 at 10:00 am for determining results and October 21 as the final deadline to declare them. Its local elections page schedules the official declaration for October 21, 2026 at 10:00 am in Council Chambers. The same page gives the Inaugural Council Meeting as November 2, 2026 in the Council Chambers, and the City’s meetings page lists an Inaugural Ceremony and Council Meeting that evening at 7:00 pm. The first regular council meeting listed after it is November 23, 2026, at 7:00 pm. More in what happens at the first meetings.
