Independent and private schools in Langley

Langley’s public schools belong to School District 35. Everything else in this list is an independent school: a school run by its own society or authority, outside the district, that still sits inside the provincial system.

What “independent” means here

The Province describes independent schools as offering parents a choice, with programs from kindergarten to Grade 12. The school authority runs its own program, enrolment and staff, while the Ministry sets policy and provides funding to eligible schools. Every independent school must hold a certificate of group classification, which the Province uses for funding and accountability.

The 13 schools

Grades and addresses are as the Province lists them. Each name links to the school’s Ministry profile, which carries the school’s phone number and contact details. Fees, admission and calendars are set by each school, so ask the school directly.
