Be the first to recommend it

- Where
- 20499 Fraser Highway, downtown Langley (next door to Homebody Goods)
- Since
- 2015 as a shop, after years at festivals and trade shows
- Good to know
- Workshops and practitioner sessions run on their own schedule, separate from shop hours
You notice the window first: a painted phoenix sweeping across the glass on Fraser Highway, gold lettering, and a glittering unicorn standing guard among the plants. Inside, Phoenix Rising feels more like a cluttered library than a shop. Dark shelves run to the ceiling with books and jars of herbs, a grandfather clock ticks in the corner, and there’s a purple velvet sofa if you want to sit with a deck before you buy it.
What’s on the shelves
- Crystals and minerals, from tumbled stones to big amethyst geodes and quartz points
- Tarot and oracle decks, plus books on spirituality and divination
- Incense, candles, herbs and ritual tools
- Jewellery, art and gifts made by local artisans
Who runs it
Goldie Bradaric and Jens Lundbek started small, with a table of herbs and crystals at festivals and trade shows. After about seven years of that, they opened a permanent shop in 2015 and incorporated in 2019. It’s still family-run, and in 2026 it picked up a Canadian Choice Award in the metaphysical shops category for Langley.
More than a shop
Phoenix Rising also works as a gathering spot. The fall calendar included an Artist Alchemy Circle for local makers in September and a free Samhain market on October 24, and readers and workshop leaders book in through the month. Their newsletter has the current schedule.
Hours
Monday to Saturday 11 to 6, Sunday 11 to 5. Hours have varied a little between listings, so check their Google listing before a special trip. Call 604-532-1887.
