Stay for a cut and you leave with a blowout. That’s built into every Vivid haircut, along with a scalp massage, which tells you what kind of salon this is: one that treats the finish as part of the job. It sits in a bright unit at 200 Street and 88 Avenue, a four-minute walk from the Carvolth Exchange bus loop, and its website says it has been open since 2013.
What they do
The menu on their site is split into haircutting, colour, blow dry bar, extensions and add-on treatments, plus formal and special-occasion styling. Colour is the big category: gloss tones, foils, root touch-ups, balayage, platinum blonde, creative colour and colour correction. They colour with Goldwell and offer an ammonia-free option.
The blow dry bar is the quick route. It’s an express wash, condition, scalp massage and style, and it’s booked separately from a full service. For extensions the site names Bellami Professional hair.
Who’s behind it
Teriva opened the salon in 2013 and is introduced on the About page as its founder. Her site profile lists Goldwell Master Colourist Level 3 training. The team around her is a set of lead and elite stylists with their specialties listed (blonding, curly-hair techniques, colour transformation), so you can pick someone for the job rather than taking whoever is free.
Before you book
- Prices on the site are estimates (cuts from about $40 to $98 and up, colour from about $105) and your stylist quotes properly at a free consultation. Pricing was updated in July 2026, so go by the online booking menu.
- A $50 deposit applies to new clients booking colour and returning clients booking foils, balayage or creative colour. New clients booking specialized colour pay $100. It comes off your bill when you show up.
- Cancel with 24 hours’ notice for cuts and 48 hours for colour or extensions.
