Accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan and bills most insurers directly

Willowbrook Dental Clinic sits inside Willowbrook Shopping Centre, so a cleaning can share a trip with the groceries. Here’s what to know before you call.

Five things to know

  1. The hours run late. Their website lists 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Wednesday and Saturday, 9 to 9 on Thursday and Friday, and 9 to 4 on Sunday. Google Maps shows an earlier Saturday close of 4 pm, so phone before a late-Saturday visit.
  2. They take the Canadian Dental Care Plan. The clinic’s own CDCP page explains who qualifies and what the plan leaves out (veneers, whitening and implants, for example). They also say they accept all dental insurance and bill insurers directly, so you pay only your share on the day, and they’ll talk through payment plans.
  3. There’s a specialist on the team. Five dentists are listed. One, Dr. Moradi, is a certified endodontist, which means root canals can stay in-house. The clinic also lists implants, dentures, oral surgery, gum treatment and Invisalign, planned with a 3D scanner.
  4. Nervous patients can ask about sedation. Their sedation page names a strong gag reflex, a fear of needles, hard-to-numb teeth and long procedures as reasons to raise it.
  5. Kids can start early. They suggest a first visit at the first tooth or around the first birthday, then checkups every six months. For advanced children’s care they refer you to a specialist practice.

Who runs it

The clinic doesn’t publish an owner’s name. Its website introduces the dentists by surname only. Dr. Lertruchikun is described as having practised in Langley for more than ten years, and Dr. Pavliouk’s bio mentions oral surgery and treating medically complex patients.

Before you go

Call 604-533-0131 or book online through their site. If you have a dental emergency, they say they’ll make every effort to see you as soon as possible, so ring rather than waiting for a slot to open online.
