Baseball in Langley comes in two main flavours. Langley Baseball Association (the Little League club most families mean by “minor baseball”) looks after the little ones through the middle years. The Langley Blaze is the club for high-school-age players. We could not find a body actually called “Langley Minor Baseball,” so this page covers both organisations.
Langley Baseball Association
The association’s website calls it a Little League club with more than 50 years of history, run by a long-serving group of volunteers, many of whom played in the league as kids. It says its teams have reached provincials, nationals and world championships, including the 2011 Little League World Series title in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Its divisions are Blastball, T-Ball, Minors, Majors, Junior and Senior, with separate divisions for 7-year-olds and 8-year-olds. The site names two playing locations, City Park and The Cage, but gives no addresses.
Who can play. The association says players must live within the league boundaries, attend school in the area, or have a sibling attending school in the area, and may be asked for proof of residence, a birth certificate and proof of school attendance. A 2019 news story described the boundaries as covering Langley City, the Township, North Langley and Aldergrove, with children who go to school in Langley also welcome; check the association’s boundary page for the current map. The site shows news posts for Fall Ball 2026 and 2026 Opening Ceremonies. Registration dates and fees are on its registration page.
Langley Blaze
The Blaze’s site says the club was established in 2001, the same year the BC Premier Baseball League (BCPBL) began. Teams on its site:
- Premier Blaze: Grade 11, Grade 12 and gap-year players.
- Junior: generally Grade 10 and 11, with some Grade 9.
- Bantam: Grade 8 and 9.
- Futures: a new BCPBL division for the 2027 season.
The program runs year-round: Fall Ball in September and October, Winter Training from November to February (outdoors on the McLeod Stadium turf and indoors at the club’s facility, called “the Barn”), a spring tour to Arizona, and the BCPBL season from late March or early April. The league has 13 teams. The Blaze says it has had more than 35 players drafted by MLB clubs since 2001. Wikipedia’s league article lists the Langley Blaze as the 2025 league champion and a six-time title winner.
Fall Ball 2026. The registration page lists Premier (19U), Junior (ages 15 to 16) and Bantam/Futures (ages 12 to 14), with ages counted as of December 31, 2026. Games run through September and October, mainly at McLeod Stadium. Cost for 2026 is $550 (the page lists US dollars), including a T-shirt and hat. The page invites players from Maple Ridge, Cloverdale, Port Kells, Aldergrove and Langley. For questions use the club’s Contact Us page.
