The gym is in suite 180 of the same building as the arena. The club says it has a 20,000 square foot facility at the Langley Events Centre and that it has been going for more than 30 years. Its motto is “What I Believe, I Can Achieve.”

What’s on offer, by age

Little ones. Active Start is the toddler and preschool class. Drop-in gymnastics is open play on the equipment for kids 0 to 5. Class names on the FAQ page give you the idea: Wee Waddlers at one, Parent and Tot at two, Level 1 at three.

School age. Ages 5 to 15, in levels 1 through 13, with separate co-ed groups at 5 to 6 and girls’ and boys’ classes from 6.5. A child who has never taken gymnastics starts at Level 1; if you’re arriving from another gym, the club asks you to email your report card.

Everyone else. There’s an adult program, and a seniors class for ages 55 and up that mixes gentle gymnastics with childhood games and teaches safe falling. There are also home-school classes, camps, try-it classes and field trips listed in the menu.

Foundations. An inclusive program for children with diverse needs, including autism and other developmental disabilities, with a sensory-friendly setup. Parents or support workers are welcome to join in.

Tumble Kids Preschool. A preschool run by the foundation with gymnastics built into the day (the site says 30 minutes), plus before- and after-school care.

Competitive streams

The women’s side runs the Canadian Competitive Program, Xcel, an Aspire stream and a High Performance group. The club describes itself as one of BC’s largest women’s programs, with more than 150 athletes across Xcel, CCP and High Performance. The high-performance streams, women’s and men’s, are by invitation only; the club asks you to email for details.

On the men’s side, the ladder is Super Heroes (pre-competitive, on all six apparatus), a Provincial Stream for Levels 1 to 5, and High Performance. The club says athletes at Levels 2 to 5 can qualify for Western Canadian Championships.

The money bits

All of this comes from the club’s FAQ, so check it before you register:

  • LGF membership is $25 a year, valid September 1 to August 31.
  • A Gymnastics BC membership and insurance fee is mandatory for taking part in anything at the gym, on the same September-to-August cycle.
  • Monthly instalments come out on the 1st. A failed payment gives you one week to fix it before a $25 administrative fee.
  • Switching classes is allowed up to six weeks after the start date, for a $10 fee. Withdrawals must be emailed before the deadline on your confirmation, and a pro-rated refund or credit is minus a $25 admin fee.
  • Classes cancelled for weather or a power outage aren’t credited; classes cancelled because a coach is away are credited within five business days.
  • Late pick-up: repeated lateness, or being more than 10 minutes late more than once, brings a $15 fee.

Bring a water bottle, wear fitted clothing, tie hair back and leave the jewellery at home.

Competitions at home

The foundation hosts at least two competitions a year at the Langley Events Centre. The big one is the Langley Grand Invitational, held in February (the 2026 edition ran February 12 to 15 and the club said it would host more than 900 athletes from across Canada and the US). The competitions page didn’t show a 2027 date when we checked, so watch that page. The club’s home page adds that it hosted three competitions in 2024.

The arena side of the building is covered on our Langley Events Centre page, and another local gym, Flip City, has its Pro-D and holiday camps covered in school break camps. For other kids’ sports, see the minor sports directory.
