Aldergrove Indian Bistro has been on Fraser Highway since 2019. Tourism Langley describes it as a restaurant started by a group of friends who turned a shared love of food into a business. The man in the kitchen today is chef and owner Deepak Bhatt. He’s from Tehri Garhwal in northern India, cooked for five years in India and five more in the Middle East, and came to Canada in 2012.
What’s on the menu
It’s a big menu that covers street-food starters through to the tandoor. The dishes they’re known for:
- Tandoori grills and mixed grill platters
- Butter chicken, which ran $17.99 on the takeout menu when we checked
- Amritsari kulcha: stuffed bread with potato and onion, served with channa masala ($13.99)
- Lamb biryani and other rice dishes
- Paneer curries and a long vegetarian list, plus a kids’ section
Tables here often end up with a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes, and the portions are generous enough that sharing is the normal way to eat.
Takeout, delivery and catering
Besides dining in, you can order pickup from their online menu or get delivery. For a party, they do trays, and they also do live catering, cooking and running a buffet at your venue anywhere in the Lower Mainland.
Before you go
They’re open every day from 11 am to 11 pm, which makes it one of the later kitchens in town. You may still see older, shorter hours on their old contact page, but the current schedule on their website and Google matches. Call 604-381-3332 or email [email protected].
The bistro also took part in the Aldergrove Business Association’s Trick or Treat the Town in 2024. For more independents nearby, see Shop Local in Aldergrove and our Aldergrove guide.
