Heart of Home didn’t start out making cabinets. According to its own About page, the company began in 2020 as a sales agency and opened its Langley showroom in 2023. Then the manufacturing partner it relied on closed. Rather than start over with someone else, it pulled together an experienced team and began building cabinetry itself, first in a small shop and now in a plant here in Langley. Design, production and installation are all in the one company.

What they build

Kitchens, bathroom vanities and closets are the core. The site also lists laundry rooms, home offices and built-ins, and the contact form has a box for refacing. The door range is long and specific, which is handy when you’re comparing quotes:

• 3D laminate shaker and raised-panel doors, with names like Lancaster, Oxford, Trillium and Whistler
• Coastal, a high-pressure laminate shaker
• Painted doors in a range of profiles, and solid wood, including a maple shaker
• Colours from Euro White and high-gloss white through greys and greens to charcoal, plus wood patterns such as Halifax Oak

They’re upfront that screen colours can mislead, and they ask you to confirm any colour against a physical sample. The site also has a care guide for each finish. For painted doors, for instance, it says to wipe with a soft damp cloth, use a little mild soap for marks, then rinse and dry.

How a project goes

You can book a design consultation at the showroom or, as the site puts it, have the design service come to you. Their designer plans the layout, storage and finishes, an admin team coordinates materials and scheduling, the cabinets are made in the plant, and their own installers fit them. Delivery costs, access and install availability are reviewed against your project address.

Heart of Home also supplies builders and a growing dealer network across Western Canada, so this isn’t only a retail counter. Homeowners can still go direct.

About the company
