Most tool stores sell other people’s brands. Leo Tools sells its own as well. Its blue bench vises carry the family name. The six-inch fixed-base model with pipe jaws was $299.92 when we checked. The Leo rebar spikes are what contractors use to pin parking stops to the ground.
The family business goes back to 1970, when Umesh Chadha started making bench vises, grinders, drill presses, lathe chucks and hand tools under the LION name. Tarun Chadha spent more than 15 years in the tool trade before bringing the business to Langley in 2022.
The shelves are built for the trades. There are Milwaukee, DeWalt and Makita power tools and batteries, hand tools, circular-saw blades, tool storage, ladders and scaffolding, safety equipment, and plumbing and HVAC supplies like pipe-hanger strapping and foil tape. Reviewers mention fair prices for contractors, help choosing the right tool for a job, and a good chance the thing you need is actually in stock.
Before you go: it’s Unit 5 (an old map link on their website still says Unit 3). Weekday hours are 9 to 5:30, and weekend hours aren’t published, so call 778-357-3396 or email [email protected] first. You can also order online.
