- Where
- 23252 20 Avenue, on a rural stretch of the Township (drive there, and plan your ride home first)
- Open
- Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 6 pm, by reservation only
- Good to know
- No walk-ins. Some weekends the cider house closes for private events and weddings
You can’t just turn up at Manners Cider. Visits are by reservation only, and the cidery says that’s on purpose: it’s a small-batch operation with limited seating, and it would rather you settle in for an afternoon than get squeezed past a crowd. Book a table through the Reserve button on their site (it runs on OpenTable), then head out to 20 Avenue.
The ciders
There are four, in 750 mL bottles. The cidery says they’re made from 100% BC apples, gluten-free, at 6.3% alcohol by volume, and it describes them like this:
- The G.O.A.T.: dry, an heirloom apple blend
- The Snitch: semi-dry, blackberry and lime
- The Bandit: semi-sweet, mango with a little serrano warmth
- The Ol’ Heifer: semi-sweet, strawberry and lychee
Each label is a dressed-up animal character, and the tasting notes on the site are written with a straight face and a wink. If you like them, the Guest List cider club offers three or four curated pickups a year, plus 15% off extra bottles, merch and tastings.
Something to eat
The menu is casual and built for sharing: pocket calzones, pretzel bites with cider cheese sauce, samosas, a grazing board, a baked-brie pastry, wings in a few flavours, and pizzas. When we looked, pizzas ran $16 to $19 (a gluten-free base is $5 extra), wings were $14 and the pretzel bites $13.
About the place
The cidery’s own story calls Manners a family-built place, ten years in the making, on what it describes as one of the harder properties on the block. We couldn’t find the owners’ names published, so we haven’t named anyone. It’s also very new: the events page invited guests to a first taste of the four ciders on June 7, 2026.
Beyond the weekend visits, the site lists seasonal events (a month of fall Farm Fest dates in October, with an apple day, orchard photo sessions, an artisan market and pumpkin carving) and takes private bookings and weddings.
Before you go
Check the visit page for closures, since private events take some weekends. There’s no phone number published, so use the reservation link or the contact form on the site. For more places out this way, browse Shop Local in rural Langley and our rural Langley guide.
