Most cranberries grown in Langley disappear into big brands. At THE BOG, the Dewit family keeps theirs, and you can buy the juice, jelly and berries a few metres from the bogs they came out of.

What’s in the shop

  • Pure cold-pressed cranberry juice, unsweetened ($14 for 946 mL when we checked)
  • Cranberry pepper jelly, with jalapeño and habanero
  • Cranberry sauce ($6), cranberry-raspberry jam and dark-chocolate cranberries
  • Freeze-dried cranberry snacks and frozen whole cranberries
  • Cranberry-orange scones, baked for the farm shop

Fresh cranberries finished for the year on October 17. Frozen ones carry on through the holiday season.

Going independent

Brian Dewit’s family has farmed in Langley for generations: dairy, poultry and hogs, and his parents started growing cranberries in 1999. Brian and Mandy planted 35 acres of their own in Glen Valley in 2010 and sold through the Ocean Spray co-op at first. In 2020 they went independent, launched THE BOG brand, and began selling straight into local stores. Their products now reach shops in BC and Alberta. The farm has worked with the Fort Langley Cranberry Festival to show visitors how harvest works, and it has donated product to BC Agriculture in the Classroom.

Before you go

The holiday farm shop is open Fridays and Saturdays, 10 to 4, until December 19. The harvest tours and bog plunges are done for 2026, so this visit is shopping only. Call 604-614-7625 or check their site for next season’s tour dates.

The Cranberry Festival in Fort Langley is the other way to see cranberries up close. More farm stops are in our rural Langley guide.
