We could source only a little about Ted Schaffer, so this is a short page. Wikipedia lists him as City of Langley mayor from 2013 to 2018, between Peter Fassbender and Val van den Broek.

What is published

CBC reported in 2018 that Schaffer was stepping down as mayor rather than running again, in an article about Fassbender’s return to the race. The same article names Val van den Broek as a sitting councillor running for mayor. Global News reported that van den Broek won the October 2018 vote.

We have not found a published biography, a list of decisions from his term, or his affiliations in sources we can open. If you can point us to the City’s own records, please tell us.
