Most renovation websites are all finished rooms. 1364’s Instagram shows the middle part: a bathroom stripped back to the studs, subfloor panels going down room by room, waterproofing membrane under the tile, a doorway shifted three inches and floor joists cut down for reinforcing. What they take on
Their site lists five kinds of job:
- Kitchens, including islands, countertops, cabinets, backsplashes, lighting and flooring
- Bathrooms, from small refreshes to full ensuites
- Living areas, such as replacing a stock fireplace with a feature wall
- Basements, including in-law and secondary suites
- Outdoor improvements, such as decks
They say they handle the permits, scheduling and project management, and use licensed trades.
Who runs it
The owner is Mark Charlesworth. His About page says he was born and raised in Langley, is a Red Seal journeyman electrician, and started the company in 2014 as an electrical contractor business before switching to general contracting in 2018.
What they say about themselves
More than 10 years of experience, free consultations and quotes, work covered by a warranty, licensed and insured crews, and two Houzz Best of Service awards. Those are their claims; we haven’t verified them. As with any contractor, it’s worth asking for licence, insurance and warranty details in writing.
