Scroll through WestView’s Instagram this October and you get a decent tour of what a Langley backyard can turn into: a heated pool, an outdoor kitchen with a smoker and a pizza oven, a stone fire pit with flagstone steps, a front yard rebuilt with retaining walls and a paving-stone driveway.

How a job runs, by their account

1. A call first. They talk through your goals, style and budget range before anyone visits.
2. A site visit. They look at your property, its slopes, drainage and access, then give guidance and a detailed quote.
3. Design, if you want it. For jobs that include it, a concept plan with 3D renderings, so you can see the yard before any digging.
4. A written scope. Price, timeline and payment schedule are laid out before work starts.
5. A managed build. They say they handle permits, materials, crew scheduling and the trades, with updates and approvals at each stage.

What they build

Their site lists retaining walls, natural and artificial lawns, paving stones, concrete, gardens, outdoor lighting, water features, pools and spas, fire features, outdoor kitchens, decks and structures, and landscape design. In winter they also plow and salt properties.

Who’s behind it

Their About page names Kevin Miller as owner and project manager and Alex Whalley as sales and design. It also says they support local fundraising events and belong to the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce and HAVAN, the Vancouver-area homebuilders’ association.
