ECL Stonework

What do they make? Countertops, and not much else. ECL Stonework fabricates and installs engineered quartz first of all, then natural stone (marble and granite), and a Dekton project shows up on their site too. The photos on their Instagram are mostly kitchens with waterfall-edge islands and bathroom vanities, and their site shows supplier logos such as Silestone, Hanstone and LG Viatera.

How does a job go? Their site lays it out in four steps:

1. Quote. You send the material, size, cutouts and fabrication details, and they price it out in a breakdown so there are no surprise extras.
2. Measurement. They measure on site with a laser templating tool.
3. Templating and fabrication. The template is turned into the finished piece, with cutouts for sinks and taps.
4. Install. The slabs go in and get adjusted for a snug fit.

The online quote form asks for your square footage and whether you want engineered quartz or natural stone, so have a rough measurement ready before you fill it in.

Where is the showroom? On 56 Avenue in Langley City. Their site photos show a display kitchen with a waterfall island. Phone ahead first: the Maps listing asks visitors to call before they come, and the posted hours there are Monday to Friday, 10 to 5. Their site says the fabrication facility itself is somewhere in the Lower Mainland.

Where do they work? All over Greater Vancouver. Their service-area page lists Langley, Walnut Grove, Surrey, Burnaby, Maple Ridge, Vancouver and more, and kitchens and bathrooms are the focus. The company has been registered since 2018.
