What is it, exactly? Two businesses sharing a front desk. One side is a health clinic. The other is a spa with private bathing rooms. There’s also a small café and a shelf of skincare and gifts, so you can walk in for one thing and notice the rest.

Who runs it? Melany and Edric, who took the business over and have spent the years since reworking it. Their story page lists what they added: a hydrotherapy service, a rebuilt mineral bath, and a café approved by Fraser Health. CAVE itself opened in 2019.

The clinic side

Registered massage therapy (including ICBC claim massage), clinical counselling, holistic nutrition and naturopathic care, plus cosmetic injectables. They direct-bill extended-health plans for registered massage, acupuncture and naturopath visits and publish a list of the insurers they bill, so check it against your plan before you book.

The spa side

The signature offer is private hydrotherapy. There are two rooms. The Salt Bath is the smaller, quieter one, with Dead Sea and Epsom salts, room for up to two, and a choice of nature sounds, meditation or spa music. The Mineral Spa is the bigger open-concept room with a starlit ceiling, rain showers and room for up to four. Their FAQ says these are baths rather than hot tubs, kept at 37°C or below.

Spa Day Saturday bundles a 45- or 60-minute massage (relaxation, aromatherapy or deep tissue), a robe and sandals in a private lounge, a soak, and tea with fruit afterwards. When we checked, their page put it between about $299 and $492 depending on your choices. Facials, waxing, brow threading and lash and brow tinting are on the menu too.

The café

Coffee from Café Umbria, tea from Silk Road, and a seasonal menu of wraps, snack boxes and energy balls.

Booking tips

Their site doesn’t post fixed opening hours. The FAQ says they’re typically open every day, roughly 8 am to 10 pm, and that holidays and busy spells change that, so book rather than drop in. They hold your slot with a card but charge only after your visit, unless you cancel late or miss it. The dietary substitutions for the spa treats (dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free) are worth asking about when you book.
