Cherry Pick is a vintage shop, not a thrift store. There’s no bin to dig through. What’s on the racks has already been sorted, and the sorting is the whole business.

Co-founder Brooklyn O’Neill started it with her partner Andrew, who’s a third-generation clothing recycler. His family runs a warehouse that sorts enormous volumes of second-hand clothing, and Cherry Pick takes the best of it: graphic and sports tees (team, movie and cartoon prints), vintage denim, and sweatshirts and branded sportswear from the 90s and 2000s. It’s grown into four shops in BC: here, Kitsilano, Gastown and Victoria. The Langley one is on the downtown one-way.

Stock turns over constantly, since every piece is one of a kind. Their Instagram shows what’s just landed at each location. Reviewers mostly mention a well-organized, comfortable shop and staff who help while you browse and try things on.

Before you go:

  • They’re open late for a shop: noon to 7 on weekdays and 11 to 7 on weekends.
  • They don’t buy clothing in store any more, so don’t bring a bag to sell.
  • All sales are final. It’s vintage, so expect some honest wear. Try things on.
  • Call 778-957-0416 or email [email protected].

For vintage home goods to go with the vintage clothes, Homebody Goods is on the same stretch of Fraser Highway. Over in Fort Langley, Always, Sunny does consignment and vintage too. More independents are on Shop Local.
