The first thing on the Jan’s website isn’t a service, it’s a driving instruction: because of the SkyTrain construction, come in off 200 Street. That’s the kind of detail worth knowing before you show up with a damaged bumper.
Six things worth knowing
- It’s an ICBC repair shop. The shop describes itself as an ICBC accredited repair facility and a C.A.R. VALET shop. It says that means it can assess damage and write the estimate on site, and offer a ride home or to work, or a courtesy car, while yours is in.
- Estimates are quick, by their account. A February 2025 post on their news page says the shop gets your estimate to ICBC within 24 to 48 hours.
- Manufacturer-certified work. They say they’re in Ford’s Certified Collision Repair Network and hold Toyota and FCA (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram) certifications, which they link to factory-trained technicians and OEM parts. They also say they do structural and aluminum repairs on Teslas.
- More than bodywork. Frame straightening and measuring, dent and scratch repair, hail damage, custom paint matching with water-based paint, detailing, and diagnostics including pre-purchase inspections.
- Glass is the newer service. Windshield repair and replacement, side and rear windows and stone chip repair. A February 2025 post describes rock chip repair as free; ask when you call whether that applies to your insurance.
- First responders get a perk. The site says first responders get a free interior shampoo and full detail with every ICBC claim.
What the shop looks like
Their gallery is black-and-white shots of the working floor: a wall of frame-pulling fixtures, a BMW sitting on a measuring bench, cars mid-repair under the shop lights. It’s a working shop, not a showroom.
