Holeshot Motorsports

If you ride, or you’ve got a kid who’s just discovered dirt bikes, Holeshot is the big local motorcycle shop on 201 Street. It’s been family run since 1984, and it covers the whole thing under one roof: bikes, the gear to ride them in, parts and service.

What’s in the showroom

• New bikes: KTM, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki street and dirt bikes
• Electric: Surron, Talaria and Stark electric off-road bikes
• Four wheels: Polaris ATVs and side-by-sides
• Pre-owned: used street and dirt bikes from several makers (a 2004 Yamaha YZ250 was listed at $6,500 when we checked)
• Riding gear: racks of jackets, pants and jerseys, a wall of boots from Alpinestars, Thor and Fox, gloves and youth sizes
• Parts: original and aftermarket, with a walk-in parts counter

Their online inventory changes all the time, and listed prices don’t include tax and some fees. Call before you drive over for a specific bike.

The people

Holeshot dates its family business to 1984, and you’ll also see it in older records as Holeshot Racing. Dan Reynolds and Larry Visco have been partners since at least 2008, when the business built a new location. It’s an independent shop that sells several brands, not a factory-owned store.

Before you go

Hours are Tuesday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30 and Saturday 9:30 to 5. It’s closed Sunday and Monday. Call 604-882-3800.

On gear and parts, the shop publishes a seven-day refund window and a 14-day exchange or store-credit window for unused items with packaging and receipt. Special orders and helmets are excluded.
