Cracked windshield, and the first question is usually: who deals with ICBC? Snowline’s answer is that it does, and that’s most of the pitch.

The ICBC part

Snowline lists itself as an ICBC Repair Network shop. By its account, you bring your driver’s licence and the vehicle, and the shop opens the glass claim, gets it authorized and bills ICBC directly. According to the shop, a rock chip repair is $0 with no deductible if you carry Comprehensive. A full replacement is also covered under Comprehensive, but your deductible applies (they say it’s typically $300, $500 or $1,000). Check your own policy before you count on that.

How long it takes

Their FAQ gives a replacement as 60 to 90 minutes of install plus an hour for the adhesive to cure. Cars with driver-assist cameras need 45 to 60 minutes of calibration on top, so plan on two to two and a half hours. The shop does the calibration itself, on a target stand in the bay, so it’s one appointment. Mobile service covers most vehicles in Langley, Surrey, Cloverdale, Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Aldergrove and Abbotsford, though cars that need calibration usually have to come to the shop.

What else you get

  • Back glass, door glass, side windows and roof glass, plus fleet work
  • A free vacuum and car wash with each glass job, coffee and Wi-Fi in the waiting room, and drop-off and pickup if you can’t wait
  • A lifetime workmanship warranty, which they say covers you for as long as you own the vehicle

Who’s behind it

Snowline describes itself as owner-run, saying its technicians hold BC’s ITA trades certification and that the team has “over five years” of industry experience. No owner’s name is published on its site or its Chamber listing, so we aren’t naming anyone. The business registered in 2025, which makes it a fairly new name on the Bypass.
