Langley Decorating Centre opens at seven on weekday mornings. Painters picking up supplies on the way to a job already know that, and so does anyone who’s run out of paint halfway through a bedroom. The Lee family opened the shop in 1992. Another local family took it over in 2025, and they kept the regular faces at the counter.

It’s an independent Benjamin Moore dealer, so the paint lines are the familiar ones: Aura, Regal Select, Advance, and exterior paints and wood stains. The colour-chip wall takes up most of one side of the shop. Customers mostly mention getting help with stain matching, and a plain explanation of which finish suits a bathroom or a deck.

More than paint

  • Wallpaper: sample books from Kravet, Schumacher and other suppliers, to look through in the shop
  • Window coverings: custom blinds and drapery
  • Supplies: rollers, brushes, trays, masking tape, filler and drop sheets for doing the job properly
  • Colour consultations at home: a separate service, by appointment only

Readers of the Langley Advance Times voted it one of the top three paint stores in their 2025 Readers’ Choice awards.

Hours

Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 9 to 5. Closed Sunday. Call 604-533-1074. You don’t need an appointment to shop, only for the in-home colour visit.
