For a place with this many kids, Langley has exactly two outdoor pools. One is a full waterpark and the other is a proper old-fashioned summer pool, and they could not be more different. Spray parks fill the gap: there are eleven of them, spread around so that most neighbourhoods have one within a short drive.
The two outdoor pools

How the waterpark works
The Outdoor Experience runs on timed sessions, and everyone entering has to be registered, including babies and anyone who is only watching. Township residents can book 10 days ahead, everyone else 7 days ahead, on the Township’s registration site. There is no waitlist; cancelled spots simply reappear online. Fees are refundable if you withdraw at least five days before the session.
A few of the Township’s rules worth knowing: kids under 7 need a responsible person with them in and out of the water; lifejackets and puddle jumpers are not allowed on the slides or in the hot tub; your own tubes and mats stay home; tents in the grass can be no bigger than 4 by 6 feet and cannot be staked. Bring collapsible chairs, because the loungers go first-come, first-served. Height and weight limits for the slides are on the Township’s page.
The pool in City Park
Al Anderson is the opposite experience: no sessions, no booking, a slide and a board and a lot of lane. It sits in City Park beside the dinosaur playground and the children’s waterpark, so one parking spot covers the whole afternoon. The City’s page lists the season dates, and its fees page has the admission.
Spray parks
The Township’s eight spray parks opened Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10am, and the City’s three are listed as seasonal. All are in parks with playgrounds, so see our playgrounds page for what else is there.
