Langley has dozens of playgrounds. Most are the small neighbourhood kind, a slide and two swings at the end of a cul-de-sac. These are the other kind: the ones you pack a snack for, where there is a washroom, somewhere to park, and enough going on that a four-year-old and a ten-year-old both stay busy. Everything below comes from the Township’s and the City’s own park listings.
The big ones
- Willoughby · 84 Avenue & 206 StreetYorkson Community Park
The Township calls this the largest accessible playground in the Township. It opened in January 2026, the new spray park followed in May, and there is a pump track, a dog off-leash area, washrooms and a new parking lot off 84 Avenue.

Before you go
- Township parks are dawn to dusk. Dogs are welcome on leash but never on the sports fields.
- Washrooms at several City parks are seasonal, roughly April to September.
- Spray parks are seasonal too. Our outdoor pools and spray parks page has the full list for both municipalities.
- Rainy day? Our community centres have indoor options, and we are working on a rainy-day page.
