McLeary's Canadian Made Furniture & Mattresses

McLeary’s has been selling furniture from the same spot on the downtown one-way since 1979, and it’s still family owned and run. In 2026 it was named Small Business of the Year at the Langley Business Excellence Awards, and Langley Advance Times readers voted it Best Independent Furniture Store.

What makes it different

Most of what’s on the floor is made in Canada, some of it by small builders you won’t find in the big chains. A lot of it can be ordered your way: pick the size, the wood finish, the fabric. That’s the part reviewers talk about most. They describe staff who take the time to work through finishes and configurations with them, without any pressure, and then deliver carefully.

The showroom is more than 11,000 square feet, set up as rooms:

• solid-wood dining tables and chairs, bedroom sets and storage
• sofas, sectionals, recliners and smaller condo-size sofas
• Canadian-made mattresses, including latex and pocket-coil
• wall beds and cabinet beds, for a spare room that also has to be an office

There are no prices online. You build a quote request on their website and they get back to you, or you just go in.

Giving back

McLeary’s gives to the Langley Food Bank every month, runs furniture donation drives for local thrift stores, sponsors minor sports teams, and partners with the Langley Rivermen.

Parking and hours

There’s free parking behind the store. Go through the Save-On-Foods lot and along Mall Road. It’s open Monday to Saturday 9:30 to 5:30 and Sunday 10:30 to 5:30. On Remembrance Day it opens late, at 11:30, and it’s closed December 24 and 25. Call 604-534-4611 or email [email protected].
