Shops, Health Care and Everyday Services in Fort Langley

Fort Langley has a family-run grocery, a pharmacy, a library and a Saturday market within a few blocks; a big shop, a walk-in clinic and the hospital mean a drive.

If you live in the village core, a quiet weekday errand run can mean groceries, a prescription, a library book and a coffee without starting the car; Lee’s Market, the pharmacy and the library are all within a few blocks of each other on Mavis Avenue. What you can’t do locally is a big comparison shop, see a walk-in doctor or go to the hospital. Those are drives. The listings below were each confirmed against the business’s or organisation’s own current page on October 30, 2026; that confirms they are published as operating, not that we stood in the door that day. We keep this to useful basics and send you to Shop Local for the fuller business stories.

Where do I buy groceries and everyday things?

The shopping spine is Glover Road around Mavis Avenue, and the blocks south toward the community hall.

Stop Address What it is

We couldn’t confirm a full-service hardware store in the village, so expect to drive to Walnut Grove or Langley City for building supplies. We also couldn’t verify a current list of farm-gate stands close to the village, and we won’t send you to a private farm entrance. Our village guide covers the market and the village’s other regular events.

The farmers’ market

The Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market runs Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm at 9025 Glover Road. The published 2026 season is April 18 to December 5. These are dated schedules rather than a year-round promise, so check the market’s site for next year.

Doctors, urgent care and the hospital

The gap here is not a lack of every health service. There is a pharmacy, dental offices in the core and a family practice. The gap is a verified open-access walk-in clinic in the village, combined with the fact that the family practice is full.

Service Where What to know
Pharmacy Pure, 102-23242 Mavis Avenue Prescription service in the village.
Family practice Fort Family Practice, 201-23148 96 Avenue, 604-888-2433 Its website says it is not accepting new patients; its urgent appointments are for existing patients, not walk-ins.
Urgent care Langley Urgent and Primary Care Centre, 202-20434 64 Avenue, 604-514-7477 Listed as open daily 9 am to 8 pm including holidays; triage and access rules are on the Fraser Health page. Outside the village.
Hospital and emergency Langley Memorial Hospital, 22051 Fraser Highway, 604-514-6000 Outside the village. Call 911 in an emergency.

Dental offices operate in the core, and they are in the Township even where a business mailing label says “Langley City”. For how to get a family doctor, start with our doctors and clinics guide and the Langley-wide health care guide.
