Most weekly errands in Yorkson can be done at one of two places. Willoughby Town Centre is the bigger one. Yorkson Village is a 10-minute walk west along 80 Avenue and serves the south-west corner. Neither has a pool, a library or a hospital, which is the part that catches new residents out.
The two hubs
| Hub | Where | What’s there |
|---|---|---|
| Willoughby Town Centre | Around 208 St, 80 Ave and Willoughby Town Centre Drive | Hakam’s Your Independent Grocer (20678 Willoughby Town Centre Dr), Shoppers Drug Mart (A100-20678), banks, dental offices, restaurants, personal services |
| Yorkson Village | 8045 204 St, at 80 Ave | Aura Natural Market (D120), The Butcher (D115), a medical clinic and child care in the same complex |
| 208 St and 83 Ave | North of the Town Centre | The Yorkson plan sets this aside for low-density mixed use. That is a land-use designation, not a list of open shops, and we found no tenant list for it. Willoughby Community Hall is nearby |
The Town Centre directory is the best place to check tenants and hours, since shops change. Willoughby Elementary, beside the Town Centre, is under study for replacement, which could change this corner over the years; see Yorkson schools.
Independent places with a current listing
These appear in a current centre directory or run a live website of their own. They are facts, not recommendations. More local businesses are on our Shop Local pages.

| Pharmacy | Shoppers Drug Mart, A100-20678 Willoughby Town Centre Dr | Check pharmacy hours separately |
| Dental | Offices in the Willoughby Town Centre directory | We list that they exist, not who to choose |

One naming trap: Yorkson Pharmacy sits at 140-20144 86 Avenue near Carvolth, outside the Yorkson boundary. For doctors see Langley doctors accepting patients, and for the bigger picture the Langley health care guide.
Nearby emergency services. The Township lists Fire Hall 4 (Willoughby) at 20253 72 Avenue and Fire Hall 8 (Walnut Grove) at 9580 208 Street. These are the closest halls, not a promise of which crew attends or how long it will take. The Langley RCMP non-emergency line is 604-532-3200; see our safety guide.
Farmers’ market
The Langley Community Farmers Market ran on Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Spirit Square, Langley Events Centre (7888 200 Street) in the summer of 2026, June to August. It’s a seasonal market, so check lcfm.ca for the next season. We found no farm-gate stand inside Yorkson. See our farmers’ markets page for the rest of Langley.
Willoughby Community Hall and places of worship
The Willoughby Community Hall at 20809 83 Avenue is a rentable hall with a long history in the neighbourhood: its own history page records a first hall in 1922 and the later hall in 1937. Check the hall’s site for bookings and events, and see our halls and rooms guide.
Places of worship in and just outside the neighbourhood, listed for information:
| Place | Faith | Address |
|---|---|---|
| Free Reformed Church of Langley | Reformed Christian | 20757 80 Ave |
| Vancouver British Columbia Temple | Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (a temple, not a public recreation site) | 20370 82 Ave |
| Christ Church, Yorkson campus | Christian | Meets at Richard Bulpitt Elementary, 20965 77A Ave |
| St. Nicholas Catholic Church (outside Yorkson, in Walnut Grove) | Roman Catholic | 20675 87 Ave |
More are on our places of worship page.
What you’ll drive for
Pools, a library branch, a hospital, warehouse shopping and big hardware stores are all outside the neighbourhood. For the full picture of where Yorkson sits, start at the Yorkson overview, and see the parks page for Walnut Grove Community Centre’s pool. The getting around page has the routes.
