Langley City’s shopping life has two shapes. One is the One-Way, the two blocks of Fraser Highway between 204 and 206 Street, which the City rebuilt in 2025 with new sidewalks and underground services. It is small-frontage, walkable and full of independent shops. The other is the car-friendly strip along Fraser Highway, Douglas Crescent and the Langley Bypass, where the supermarkets and the hardware store are. For most daily errands, the question is which of those two your address is close to.

Groceries and everyday shopping

The business association’s directory lists these as current. They had listings when we checked on 30 October 2026, which isn’t a same-day visit, so check hours before a special trip.

Where Address Good for
Save-On-Foods 20151 Fraser Highway Full grocery; Shoppers Drug Mart is in Unit 107 of the same address. The closest big store for Nicomekl and the western apartments
No Frills #210-20460 Douglas Crescent Groceries near the Langley Mall block; check the entrance, because older mall addresses differ
Safeway 20871 Fraser Highway Eastern downtown; compare the route from Douglas or Blacklock
Saigon City Market 20178 56 Avenue A food-shopping destination in the directory, a few blocks west of the One-Way
RONA 20350 Langley Bypass Hardware and building supplies; allow for road work around the driveway
Willowbrook Shopping Centre 19705 Fraser Highway The big mall, in the Township just past the western boundary; see our Willowbrook guide

South of the river it is a car or bus trip. The Official Community Plan points to future small commercial nodes at 200 Street and 50 Avenue and at 208 Street and 48 Avenue, but those are proposals, not stores. If you are looking at Alice Brown, Simonds or Blacklock and Uplands, do the actual grocery drive before you commit.

Local businesses worth knowing

These are independent or local places confirmed open on their own sites or in the association directory:

  • Oxford Ice Cream, 20581 Fraser Highway: a One-Way shop; the operator’s site confirms it.

  • Holland Shopping Centre, 20234 Fraser Highway: a specialty food shop in the downtown directory.
  • Twins Coffee, 5765 Glover Road: a café on the downtown list.

The Downtown Langley Business Association lists the rest, and our downtown mural walk is a pleasant way to see the area. For a wider look, there is our Shop Local section.

The 2026 Langley Community Farmers Market was at Douglas Park on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., June to August; see our markets guide for the rest of Langley.

Where is the nearest hospital to Langley City?
Langley Memorial Hospital at 22051 Fraser Highway in Murrayville (Township), which Fraser Health lists with a 24-hour emergency department. There is no emergency department in downtown Langley City. Route 560 is the direct local bus, and it runs about hourly, so many people drive or take a ride.

Foundry Langley, at 20616 Eastleigh Crescent, offers physical and mental health care, substance-use support and social services for ages 12 to 24. Call 604-546-2700 and check its site for current drop-in times.
Are the Langley Mall and Innes Corners being redeveloped?
The City’s Official Community Plan sets out a future comprehensive redevelopment for Langley Mall and Innes Corners, including public space and attention to mature trees. We found no funded plan or construction date, so don’t expect store closures from it yet. Follow applications on the City’s development portal.
